The wedding day was so special. We got up early and head on over to the Savoy, where the reception was going to be held. With direction from Elsie & Sharon(& team) we assisted in setting up the tables, and carrying stuff over from RV. This part was really fun for me. I loved getting my hands in there and helping set up what I knew would be the most fantastic and creative wedding reception I'd ever been to.
I could not believe the dessert table. Seriously. Emma did an AMAZING job with the cupcakes, cake pops, and all the details were so pretty. I love the banner in the front (which I believe is from a favorite Etsy shop of mine, Nice, by Caitlin Holcomb). Everything complimented each other and really was a fabulous focal point to the reception. The dance floor was also adorable.
After some set up, I head back to the hotel, to prepare for bridesmaids hairstyling! I had a blast doing some beautiful beehive styles, and of course doing Elsie's hair for her big day was a real honor. We kept things casual romantic with her style, looser curls with a retro vibe. After everyone was done, we drove to Red Velvet and the rest unfolded to be one beautiful day full of smiles, sweets, instax photos, rose petals, and good memories.
And as I'm sure you've already seen... the wedding film by Brandon Goodwin is unreal. So sweet! I have watched it several times today already. You can enjoy it here or here.
I can't wait to see more of the photos on Elsie's blog. Sarah Rhodes of Arrow & Apple is a real sweetheart, and I was so happy to meet her. Her work is amazing, truly.
What I wore: LA snapped this at the hotel before we left (er, before they kicked us out! lol)
Dress: vintage lace dress from the 50's
Tights: provided by Elsie
Shoes: Alexa Heels by Chelsea Crew
