I love modern design. Ryan does not.
I love a chair for the shape, Ryan loves a chair for the comfort (he prefers traditional).
I flipped when I saw this chair, thinking that maybe this is a step toward compromise, and maybe, just maybe he might like it too?
....
He doesn't.

oh our biggest problems are definitely not furniture, it's interesting to see our likes vs. dislikes. ;P

Just an idea, but I've found that with decorating decisions sometimes if you talk them into trying something out, just for a little while, they'll fall in love. (for example, my husband that grew up in an all tan house now loves the black walls in our bathroom) You could get it. Live with it for a week and then return it :D
