Hair by Antoinette Beenders for Aveda
This is the cut/color/style that I am in LOVE with right now. This style is inspired by Toyah Willcox, from her 80's English punk band days. It is part of the Sublime Collection for Aveda this year, and I have one of the stylists at my salon do the same color for me, I just love it! It's a red base color, with copper highlights, and a dark red-violet color for the perimeter. Perfect for this fall/winter.
Where do you find your hair inspiration?
I'm delurking to tell you that YOU are my hair inspiration! I stumbled upon RVA a few months ago and promptly bookmarked that blog and yours because I loved your hair so much. If you ever do a road trip to BC you'll have to advertise styling stops along the way ;)

I need to find some summer hair inspiration, im thinking of going shorter, something different, its nice for a change!
I am trying to grow mine out right now so I like to check out photos of Marianne Faithful and Joni Mitchel (similar color and texture to me.)

That hairstyle is perfect! I'm on the search for a new style since I'm long overdue for a haircut. I get my hair inspiration from people at Target (people watching, lol) and silly hair magazines.
