I'm a bit of a makeup junkie... I'll admit, I never leave the house without wearing it.
After having a baby, it's harder to take the time to get "made up", and I have a much simpler makeup routine. Here are my must haves for this summer.
For everyday simplicity:
Foundation: Mineral Powder Foundation from PureAnada.
Pure Anada makeup is founded/formulated by a woman from my town, and it's a great product!
Mascara: Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express
The best cheap mascara out there, in my experience. :)
...and for when I want that little extra:
Eyeshadow: Kat Von D True Love eyeshadow palette
Eyeliner: Maybelline Line Stiletto

I will have to check out that eyeliner! I need a cheaper one. I wish I didn't have an allergic reaction to all the mineral make-ups I have tried. I hear nothing but good things about them.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Revlon Colorstay Foundation. If you've got oily skin this stuff is a MIRACLE. On top of MD Forte cleansing products.

Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express is my go-to mascara as well. I just bought the Maybelline Falsies mascara. I find it pretty wet and clumpy so I think I'll be sticking with Colossal.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love that mascara - it's the best for cheap mascara - no clumping! I really like the Mary Kay mineral foundation as well - in my opinion it works as well as Bare Minerals but it's much cheaper (and you get WAY more). Happy Tuesday!

ReplyDeleteI have to agree on the mascara. It's my favorite! Also I use neutragena skin soothing eye tints. And I recently came to find out that Noxema really clears up my skin.

ReplyDeleteMy Clinique airbrush concealer and my Eye Candy Eye Primer make me smile. I know it's funny, but i'm also in love with the chubby eye sticks from Avon. I'm in the market for new ones, though. I guess I need to find a new brand.

My favourites when I don't have time to put everything on is eyeliner, and mascara by Mary Kay. I will definitely give the colossal mascara a try when I am out of my Mary Kay mascara.
