...and still no baby. Correction, there's certainly a baby, but she's snug inside. There's been LOTS of contractions, and we've gone for walks etc, but no action to report as of yet.
The waiting is getting borderline frustrating because I keep thinking "It's gonna happen now! Today's the day!" when nothing happens, and to think this could go on for another 2 weeks makes me a lil crazy. But she'll be here eventually. I just can't wait to hold her in my arms.
My mother's day was great, and I hope yours was too.

ReplyDeleteI was born May 11 1986 ( mothers day that year.) A week late and after 36 hours of labour .:yes ACTIVE Labor :: i was born. My mom says I have been stubborn and pokey ever since. Maybe your little girl has a stubborn streak already??

Funny how it's so frustrating at the time but now I feel very nostalgic about those last moments when the two of us were one! Good luck with your labour!

ReplyDeletei had the same type of labor as you...1.5 weeks of off and on contractions. it just means that the day she comes, it might be super quick since you've been already having contractions! i was only in active labor with my second for 2 hours!! yay! good luck and hope it goes quick and easy! =D
