make a wish.


I'm 23 now. I had a fabulous birthday weekend, I just love birthdays.
You know how when you were young, you got to have cake with candles, and you made a wish when you blew them out?
I didn't have candles to blow out this year (seems the older you get, the less attention a cake gets), but if I could make some wishes:

I wish...
*that I wouldn't worry
*that Delilah would come on time (or earlier!)
*that she would come naturally, and I wouldn't need to be induced
*that she's healthy and strong from day 1
*that I find enough energy to love both my kids equally, and share my attention
*that Ryan had more holidays
*that I will be able to nurse without a hitch
*that I could go clothes shopping with some girlfriends
*that I could go for tea with my Grandma Johnston
*we had a Starbucks in town
*for a beautiful rainy day, complete with the smell and a rainbow.

    first a happy belated birthday wish and a virtual cake with loads of candles so you can wish for even more health and beauty for your Delilah :-)
    if the grant-you-3-wishes-fairy came visit me today i'd wish that someone would by our old couches so we could buy ONE new big couch on which we both can cuddle up in the evenings. and the other two were that my family and I stay as healthy and happy as we are. that would be it. just that. happiness and health.

  2. Lovely !

    you know, yesterday I went to a doctors appointment the last one out of 5 or 6, well something was not ok with my heart and I was taking pills and getting all kind of tests done, But! the good thing is that, yesterday the cardiologist said somehow the problem went away, everything´s ok now, just like that!

    So I wish for lots of healthy days, and a lot of work so I can finally get the tattoo I want to get to show my mom how much I love her and to be able to buy a cute pug!!

  4. GAsp! I always forget you're almost six years younger than me but you're probably told a lot that you seem older. (Read: more mature not more old. ha!)

    I feel old trying to get work done this late at night! I used to be able to pull this off in college...boo.

    You're lucky...I want to create for a job, instead I'm stuck in a boring job 'cause I 'can't aford to start my own business, yet...

  12. Happy belated birthday!!! I turned 25 last Monday and I am just so happy I found your blog. Its going to help me be more creative hopefully!!! I wish for that creativity and a constant supply of Starbucks wouldn't be terrible either!!!

  14. we share the same b-day so funny I have met a few april 27th birhtdays now.. So happy bday to you I hope you had a fun day. Mine was ok I'm 31 yikes I do not feel like it.. me and my hubby went clothes shopping(he waited patiently) i didint have much luck but my mom made me a rhubarb pie one of my favorites my kids think my birthday was boring ha ha.
