we've moving.

I'll be a little m.i.a. over the next few days, as we're going to be busy packing up and moving into our new home! It's exciting, but kinda crazy! Wish us luck.

ps: funny story... I was finishing a crocheted baby blanket that I started exactly 3 months ago, and got to the last and final row, a scalloped edge, only to run out of pink yarn on the last side!! I'm sooo close! lol, now I have to run to the store to buy a new skien just for the one side.... this ever happened to any of you before? Frustrating! Oh well.

  1. I feel like it happens often!! And I don't have a hobby lobby near me, I order off the website, so I wait lol I wish they'd built a hobby Lobby in Tampa!

  2. Have fun moving!

Also - that happens to me ALL the time. I never seem to have enough yarn for projects, even when I plan ahead!

  3. Yes, I know that feeling! I hate running short on yarn. When I was finishing my first granny square afghan I just had to finish the edge with two sides left and I ran out of yarn. I was getting really annoyed making repeat yarn errands.

Have a nice move! Try to stay organized and sane.

  6. I ran out of yarn when I was three inches away from finishing the edging on a scarf. I was on a plane, flying to where I was going to be giving said scarf as a Christmas present, too.

Luckily, there was a Michael's nearby and I could get another skein. :)

    Good luck with the move!
