I've dreamed about becoming an Aveda Salon, and even for my business plan project in Cosmetology I had Aveda a big part of my "pretend" salon. I never thought the dream would come true, and that one day I would be the owner of one!
We've had the salon for almost a year now, and we're headed in a great direction! This is what I've always wanted.
The Aveda goods arrived at the salon today (all 22 boxes of it!!) and so we've got our work cut out for us over the weekend.... we have a 3 day course scheduled for the staff... and for a hairstylist, there's nothing more fun and exciting than learning about new hair color and new hair products!! I'm so happy. Just thought I would share in this moment with you all. :)
On a different note, I'll end the post with a fond memory... I am working on my Ning profile for the upcoming Indie Business 2.0 class (link in sidebar), and I was uploading some photos of crafty stuff....

Congratulations! That is soo exciting. I worked in an Aveda lifestyle store for a few years -- it's great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI got my hair cut this past Saturday at my fav Aveda salon. And then I found out that the owner had her last two babies delivered by the same nurse midwife that will deliver our first within the next two weeks or so.
