It's exciting that the Olympics are in Canada this year, and I think they've come up with some awesome gear! Aritzia had so many great items, and the Gear Store has a ton of cute things for kids, and adults alike. I'm not a huge Olympics person, but we will be watching the Opening Ceremonies this evening, to see what Vancouver has come up with! What's one event YOU'RE looking forward to watching? I like watching the figure skating...

i'm excited about the opening ceremonies too. :) i enjoy figure skating and snowboarding [especially with my pregnant crush, shaun white! hahaha! it's so silly!] i tend to like the winter games more so than the summer ones though. so i'll probably end up watching whenever i can.

I really like the gear too this time. I have a pair of the red mittens, they make me happy. Even though I live in Vancouver I'll be watching the olympics on tv.

Dan will be watching Hockey, of course, so I'll be watching that along with him...I used to love watching figure skating when I was younger so I may catch a few of those events, but I'll probably skip out on most (including the Opening ceremonies tonight). It is great that it's in Canada this time, but Vancouver is so far from here it might as well be in another country!

ReplyDeleteThe Olympic torch went past my apartment about an hour ago and I totally missed it! Well, I could hear it, but not see it, haha! I will definitely be watching hockey and I am pretty excited about the opening ceremonies as well.

i am so pumped to watch the opening/closing ceremonies, and i really enjoy watching speed skating, figure skating, and ski jumping!

ReplyDeletei was born and raised in salt lake city, and it's hard to believe that we hosted the winter olympics 8 years ago! wow, that makes me feel old, haha. i wish we had great gear like this back then, i would have totally rocked some. <3
I have a Quatchi mascot toy and an Olympic scarf, and I don't even live in North America, yet alone Canada! Quatchi is the coolest toy I own now!
