Another goal:
to add to my camera collection...
I'd love a holga, or a mini diana, or any other lomo camera. I'd also like to find a film SLR in good condition.
I'm patiently waiting for my new point & shoot to come in the mail....
yes, I'm excited about a point & shoot, you see, I haven't been doing much photography for pay lately (thank goodness) and so I find that I haven't been taking very many photos, you know, candid ones! My Canon Rebel XSi is a little large to cart around all the time, and I find I'm just not taking as many photos as I used to. I received a 50mm lens for Christmas this year, so I'll be playing around with that (and it'll be nice and small compared to my 18-200mm), which will also help. I'm looking forward to having a small camera that'll fit in my purse, or the diaper bag, and get more into taking lots of photos of everyday life.
That was one goal...
I've made a few others, I'll only mention a few:
-make my home just how I want it and fill it with art and loveliness.
-do a photo home tour (goes with the above goal)
-scrapbook again
-make Delilah & Simon handmade clothes
-get another tattoo
-get back into yoga, seriously
-more dates with my husband
-finish all the projects I start..
....
and with that I should continue what I was doing before.... :)
i have this goal too. i bought me a point and shoot and totally dislike it. you will love the holga if you get one. i have one...but still haven't developed the film. next week i am going to take it out all weekend! hopefully will post those pictures at some point in the next month.

I too am wanting to take more pictures in the new year. You should get a holga! I recently bought a really great holga off ebay for about $40 brand new! I'm really loving it.

ReplyDeleteI want to take more photos this year too! I did 2 photo workshops last year and they were heaps of fun. I really want to develop my photography skills a bit more.

ReplyDeleteHa, that's so funny, I'm getting a point and shoot (late Christmas present) for the EXACT same reason! I want to be able to have something in my purse to take quick shots of life, I can't carry around my XT all the time, too heavy/bulky...I'm excited about it too!

Great list of goals! I got that same point and shoot camera before we took a trip to Disneyworld this fall and I love it! So handy, and it takes very nice photos. Happy New Year!
