Elsie puts so much heart and effort into her paintings, and it would be so cool if we all joined the team, don't you think? They will be keeping track of where each Team Lovely painting is shipped to, on a map! I'm looking forward to seeing more of the collection, and picking my own lovely girl to name, and display in my home.

Be sure to also check out the cute new kit as well! I love the faux-photos! RVA kits never cease to take scrapbooking and paper crafting to the next level!
Everyone keeps asking me what Simon is going to be for halloween this year.... but the truth is, I haven't had the time to make him a costume! I thought of making him a starbucks latte, with a whipped cream hat... which would've been awesome, but there's just no time. I figure I have many years ahead of us for me to make Simon cute costumes. So this year we're taking it easy.
Speaking of halloween, I'm looking forward to it being over, lol. Sorry to all those halloween fans out there, but I just can't wait to start thinking about Christmas! I've been brainstorming about decor ideas for the salon, and I'm thinking a nice big tree, lime & teal ornaments, with peacock feathers, and other ornaments that I used on my home tree last year. For my house, I dream of having a bright crazy tree.... like purple! Where my Mom works, she can order me a purple one, but it's a little pricey... so we'll have to see. Anyone else already thinking about Christmas decorating?? It's my favorite time of year.
Time to make lunch, and get ready for work.
Have a lovely thursday, blog friends.
XO holly
ps: Do you plan on getting a Team Lovely painting? I'm excited to see who's all going to join the team! :D

I hope to get a team lovely!
it is taking ridiculous amounts of restraint to keep from taking my xmas box out of storage. i've seen a lot of people jump on the "i can't believe stores already have christmas stuff out" bandwagon, but i feel like we should all be more upset the season ends in december. i want this holiday joy (and twinkle lights) to extend well into march, darn it.
The girls in our house were asking Tim if they could set up the tree thanksgiving weekend when it first snowed. :) I was pretty tempted myself.
I would much rather decorate for Christmas than Halloween too! Costumes are fun, but Christmas you get to wear cute sweaters, sing holiday songs, and enjoy steaming mugs of cocoa while opening presents!
I hope to be a part of Team Lovely sometime!!! So exciting! A brilliant idea!
I had big plans of making costumes as well, but with school + moving this weekend, we just went with store bought. Hopefully I can be more on my game next year!!
I love the Team Lovely paintings, so cute!
Keith always makes me wait until after Remembrance Day to get Christmassy. But then I go full force. : )
In Mexico the most popular by far are crazy colored christmas trees. Lots of jem colors. Purple & teal, magenta & blue, you name it! You'd have a ball shopping down there :)
I am DEFINITELY getting one!!! I'm begging for a blonde with pink heart-shaped glasses!
I will definitely be of teAm lovely! awesome idea of Elsie's;) I put up my tree every year on nov.1 I can't help it ;)
would simon's ipod costume not fit him one more year? that was the cutest thing ever!
im thinking christmas. im wanting ot make those button wreaths you had posted last year.. kinda freaky I remember all this stuff, but it sticks with me cuz they're such neat ideas.
are you making neck warmers again this year? If so, and if your selling them again, hold one aside! I'm up for it still!
I'm totally with you Holly on the Christmas thing, I've been thinking about it for the past week or more, I just wasn't diggin' Halloween as much this year (and it's usually my fav!) I want to start working on my handmade gifts, my December Daily, decorate and listen to Christmas music, but I'm holding off until November, which luckily is next week! lol
i will TOTALLY have a team lovely! can't wait!!!
i'm looking forward to christmas too! i do a white tree with peppermint scent (scentsy of course!) and crazy fun colors all over! i'm dreaming of a white christmas this year!
i looved maternity pants! :)
ps... we've been listening to christmas music (sufjan style!) and watching home alone and charlie browns christmas for a couple of weeks already! yays!
Yay for Christmas planning already! I've been trying to decide how much energy I want to squeeze in that direction this year and I think I'm going to keep the handmade gifts simple and quick (except for a few extra special ones!) and enjoy making memories and decking out the house to give us a lovely backdrop for those moments.
AND YAY for maternity pants!!! Only because it means that bump is getting bigger!
defintely hopin for a team lovely girl!
my blog is called team taylah, so it suits:) red hair, to match mine=D

Hey Holly! I just started reading your blog and saw your comment about being in maternity pants now. For one thing, CONGRATS! But I thought I'd mention this tutorial on Grosgrain. I found out about it too late (my boy is a little over a month old) but I wish I could have tried it out! I hated maternity pants because they were always either ugly, or wayy out of my price range. If you decide to try it, let me know! I'd love to see how they turn out!
