photo by me, of the fireworks at Esplanade Riel Bridge in Winnipeg. (last year)
Winnipeg has a lot to offer on Canada Day.. but I think we're going to stay home, take advantage of the day off, and chill.
Summer has been good so far. I'm enjoying it. I'm looking forward to lots of things... like:
b) spa dates with friends
c) sewing dresses from old patterns.
d) appreciating the weather

Happy Canada Day Holly! If it's sunny, then get out there and enjoy it! (Here, as it has been for the past 2 weeks, it's cloudy and going to rain...bah I hate the Maritimes sometimes! haha)
ReplyDeleteThanks, you too!
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable picture of Simon. : )
We should have a spa date, or drive to Grand Forks for the day, or just hang or something. Miss ya.
wahoo! happy canada day.
ReplyDeletei hope you have a very relaxing day...also! that photo of the fireworks is incredible!!
that is a fantastic photo of the fireworks!!! i sooooo miss the fireworks in winnipeg. they were my favourite thing about summer! i moved away about 10 years ago and where i live now the fireworks are a pathetic comparison :( although, lately my hubby and i have been talking about moving back, so maybe we'll get to see them next year!
ReplyDeletehappy canada day!
my hubs is from BC, so he likes to send out a Canada Day email to everyone (we live in US right now), which we often get funny replies to. I love Canadian fireworks because they sing--have never seen that before!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day to you as well!

I was in Wpg for Canada Day, it was beautiful. Love that photo from last year, we didn't even watch fireworks but the zoo was free!
