What is your current obsession?
my new blackberry, and cross stitching.

What is your current favorite memory?
playing with my cousins on their farm when I was younger.  We'd go snowmobiling and build forts in the winter, and collect frogs, ride bikes, and have fires in the summer time.  I liked being outdoors.

Starbucks or Peet's?
Starbucks obviously. (plus I'm not sure I've heard of Peet's..)

What's for dinner?
We're going to a fire at a friend's place, hot dogs! :)

What would you eat for your last meal?
cedar plank salmon with grilled vegetables. my favorite!

What's the last thing you bought?
a "Fur Real" puppy for Simon.  I was getting tired of tractors and trains, so I got him a cuute puppy toy that we could have fun with together.

What are you listening to right now?
The Astroids Galaxy Tour, Ingrid Michaelson, Underoath

What is your favorite ice-cream flavour?
I prefer frozen yogurt (Key lime or lemon please!) but I had to choose an ice cream flavor, I would pick cotton candy.  There's an ice cream place at The Forks in Wpg that we go to sometimes in summer, and that's what my sister and I always pick. :)

What do you think of the person who tagged you?
I wasn't technically tagged, but I saw this on Rachel's blog.... she's a Mom with an amazing sense of style, and so fun to talk to! Her home looks so beautiful and I love her knack for transforming vintage and thrifted finds into chic decor!

What was your favorite toy growing up?
I went through stages with Polly Pocket, Doodle Bear, and other girly toys like that, but ultimately I enjoyed the nerdy toys like tamagotchi and gameboy. :)

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
oh my... that's a tough one.  I'd want to go see the Na Pali Coast in Kauai with Ryan again.  Most beautiful place on earth.

 

Which language do you want to learn?
Spanish, so I can carry on conversation with the people in Dominican, next time we go.

What is your favorite colour?
teal.

What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe?
my black Lululemon hoody.  lol, not necessarily haute couture, but my favorite none the less. 

What is your dream job?
I love my job right now.   But my 'dream' job would have to do with shopping and traveling. :P

What is your worst habit?
not being tidy.  I'm sort of messy.  Cleanliness isn't my top priority, and I'm trying to work on that.

If you had £100 now, what would you spend it on?


Do you admire any one's style?

My mother-in-law.  Her personal style is always classy, and sometimes Audrey inspired.  Her ability to style a room is also very admirable. 

Describe your personal style?
Undefined.... I like casual classics like fitted tees, cute jeans, and hoodies, but I'm getting into dresses, and more feminine style.   I'm drawn to retro and modern styles as well.

What are you going to do after this?
put makeup on and get dressed, going to a friends place for a fire. :)

What are your favourite movies?

The Little Mermaid, A Beautiful Mind, Diving Bell & The Butterfly, LOTR, Band of Brothers, 007 Casino Royale.. 

What is your favourite fruit?
my favorite is always changing... for now I'll say berry & citrus.  Like cherry & lime, or raspberry & lemon, oooh, now I'm craving raspberry lemonade.

What inspires you?

the weather, handwriting, art... 

Your favorite book?
I'm definitely not a reader, though I'd like to be.  Shel Silverstien's poetry books are some of my favorites.

Do you collect something?

coffee mugs (only cute ones, or ones from far away places), original art from artists I admire, craft supplies (yarn!)...

What are you most proud of?

my family, the decisions I have made, and my accomplishments. 

What do you like most about yourself?
I can catch on to things.  If i want to learn something, I usually can quite quickly.  I also like my positive attitude, and happy nature. :) 

What is your go-to nail polish color?
Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI, it's like a super dark almost black eggplant color.

Right now I have gel nails though...french.  I want to try blue tips next time!
