We are discovering SO many neat places here in Springfield. Elsie took us to a vintage shop across from her loft, called The Style. I know she's blogged about it before, so you may have heard about it. It's ridICULous. Debbie is the sweetest, and she has so many beautiful items.

I had to try reeeeally hard not to buy a gorgeous wooden purse from the 60's. I can have it in my dreams.
I thought this sign was great too, in a window on another shop on Commercial Street. :)
I think Elsie's tattoo is soooo awesome, and unique. I took a photo of some chalk drawn spools from her loft, and thought it would make a pretty diptych.
Breakfast was the highlight of the day so far. We met up with Rachel at Mudhouse, and had great conversation over muffins and lattes. She's so sweet!! I wish I was staying longer so I could get to know her better... :(
XOxo, holly

aww, so glad you got the chance to discover some of the great stops in springfield--i wish i had time to explore more of them, but the few i've visited have been great.
ReplyDeleteJust started following your blog, and I'm totally loving it. You have a fun, creative personality, and everything you make is just adorable.
Best!
p.s. just saw the cuffs on elsie's blog--how cute!!!
ReplyDeleteJust about to blog about you guys! I thoroughly enjoyed our Mudhouse visit and also wished we could've spent more time together. I didn't realize it was going to be the busiest social weekend of my year until a few days before. You ladies, however, were a refreshing two-ish hours of girl time.
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home safely and that your luggage soon follows!
Those cuffs are hot!
