Simon's new "gear" reminded me of this older photo of Ryan... just felt like sharing.
aaand, I had a lot of fun shopping this afternoon, just Ryan and I! I had some Christmas money still left over, and we were headed into the city to celebrate my Mom-in-law's birthday, so I figured, why not! I found this great bag, fell in love with it right away.
It's so soft, and huge! I wanted to find a nice big bag to bring along on our trip coming up.
Now... after seeing what a beautiful blank blue canvas this is, of course my wheels start turning. I was reminded of one of the tutorials in Elsie's class, the one about altering hand bags... and so I think I'm going to Holly-fy this lovely tote with some cute embroidery! I'm still thinking about designs..... what would YOU do?

I would do the Orla design or some flowers. I think you should do whatever you like best. It's a great bag and I love that color.
ReplyDeleteSimon's shirt is Supercute! I have all that to come, my partner is looking for his first supercross bike as he's become addicted!! And I'm sure that when we have kids he'll kit them out to match!!

3. But, I can picture the orla vine thing going on this bag. Kind of like the background of your painting.
